An 18-year-old East Northport teen stabbed his grandmother’s fiancé to death inside a trailer parked in the driveway of their shared address early Sunday, Suffolk County Police said.
Officers responded to a 911 call at the address at 3:42 a.m. and found 61-year-old Joseph Falvo suffering from multiple stab wounds inside the trailer. Falvo was taken to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Noel Bermudez-Chin, who lived at the same address, was arrested a short time later on Laurel Hill Road in Northport, accused of attacking Falvo in the trailer’s living room.
Bermudez-Chin is charged with second-degree murder and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Suffolk First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
