Update: Police say the missing Smithtown teenager whose apparent abduction was reported yesterday has been found unharmed. No other information was provided by police.

Suffolk County Police issued an alert for a Smithtown teen last seen getting into a car near her home in the early morning hours on Thursday.
Police said Vianna Dettling reportedly go into a white sedan in front of 299 Lilac Lane in Smithtown about 3:10 a.m., and hasn’t been seen since. The 18-year-old lives just a few addresses away at 256 Lilac Lane.
Meanwhile, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services has put out a “missing vulnerable adult alert” regarding Dettling’s disappearance, noting that she was abducted and believed to be in danger.
Suffolk Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating Dettling, who was reported missing by a family member. She is white, 5-foot-6, and weighs about 150 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a multicolored t-shirt and black pants.
Detectives asked anyone with information on her location to call 911 or the Fourth Squad at 631.854.8451.
