Annual Fair at Argyle Park announces 2019 date, seeks vendors

|

The widely-popular Annual Fair at Argyle Park is prepping for this year’s outing in Babylon Village.

The large artisan event, which is run by the Babylon Beautification Society, is set for Sunday, Sept. 8. The day is filled with food and craft merchants, as well as live music.

The money raised at the society’s chief fundraiser goes back into keeping Babylon Village beautiful. The society uses the money raised for such projects and programs as the hanging baskets, holiday lights at Christmastime, lining the village with shrubs and trees and more.

Now, the Annual Fair is currently gauging interest from 2019 potential vendors.

“Space is limited and we expect to sell out again, so we strongly recommend that you submit your application as early as possible to secure your space,” said  Frank Petruzzo, president of the Babylon Beautification Society.

According to the beautification society, all submission must be in by Aug. 26.
