Long Islanders and famed sports radio hosts Boomer Esiason and Gregg Giannotti are making their return to Patchogue.
The duo, who co-host WFAN’s morning show Boomer & Gio, will be live broadcasting their program at the Blue Point Brewery on Friday, from 6-10 a.m. The morning will kick off will a live broadcast of The Warm Up Show with Al Dukes and Jerry Recco from 5-6 a.m.
The event is open to all, free and there is no registration.
Boomer & Gio is also simulcast on CBS Sports, so the brewery and Patchogue will be mentioned often that day on national television as well.
This is the second time the show has broadcasted from the Blue Point Brewery — the first was in October three years ago for the Yankees’ first playoff game of the year. It was jam-packed. Below is a recap of the event.
Giannotti, a 2000 Bellport High School graduate and a friend of GreaterLI, started hosting in 2017 with Esiason, a former NFL quarterback and East Islip High School 1979 graduate.
The proud Long Islanders aren’t shy of showing their love for their home. The two held the Boomer & Gio Boat Party in the Great South Bay and Connetquot River last summer. Click below for photos from that boat party.
