Long Island now counts a dozen Chick-fil-A locations.
On May 1, the popular chicken sandwich chain opened a new restaurant in East Meadow at 1622 Hempstead Turnpike, directly across from Eisenhower Park — Nassau County’s largest park.
The new location offers dine-in, drive-thru, and carry-out services. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. As always, Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed on Sundays.
This franchise is owned by Scott Buccellato, the operator who opened the Chick-fil-A in Westbury in 2018.
“Becoming a Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operator wasn’t always part of my plan, but now I couldn’t imagine doing anything else,” said Buccellato. “From the moment I encountered Chick-fil-A’s commitment to genuine hospitality, I felt called to be part of it. Our goal is to create a restaurant that not only serves meals efficiently and with a smile but also leaves a meaningful mark on the local community.”
With the East Meadow opening, Chick-fil-A now has 12 locations across Long Island, including Port Jefferson Station, Smithtown, Commack, Huntington, Farmingdale, Levittown, Hicksville, Westbury, Garden City (Roosevelt Field Mall), Farmingville, and Selden, which opened last month.
And more are on the way.
A Chick-fil-A spokesperson confirmed that new restaurants are planned for West Babylon, Riverhead, Medford, and Lake Ronkonkoma. Stay tuned to GLI for updates on these upcoming locations.
