Crime Stoppers: Police seek help identifying man who robbed an East Islip ice cream parlor

Suffolk County Police are turning to the public for help finding a man who robbed an East Islip ice cream parlor this winter.

The thief (pictured above) used a gun to rob cash from Pam’s Ice Cream Shoppe, located at 195 Carleton Avenue, on Dec. 19 around 5 p.m. After the crime, the man fled on foot.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with such information should contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.
