K9 Resorts set to open 10,000-square-foot luxury dog resort in Syosset

The new K9 Resorts in Syosset will open its doors to dogs and their owners for the first time on Saturday, Jan. 14.

This is the luxury boarding franchise’s second location on Long Island.

The other is in Garden City.

“Known as the Ritz Carlton of dog hotels, this K9 Resorts location boasts 10,000 square feet of space and offers top-quality customer service and luxury accommodations for man’s best friend,” reads a calendar post on greaterlongisland.com.

The grand opening event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 120 Eileen Way.

There, attendees will get a chance to tour the facility, scope out the sparkling new chandeliers and flat screen televisions, grand executive suites and Italian tile flooring, according to the calendar listing. There will also be giveaways and special deals on doggie daycare packages.

K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel started in 2005 in in Fanwood, N.J., the company’s website reads. K9 Resorts Syosset is located near the AMF bowling alley and Long Island Sports Hub.
