Bay Shore High School student Kevin Souhrada was accepted into the Physics of the Atomic Nuclei (PAN) summer research program at the University of Notre Dame.
Only 20 students are selected each summer to participate in this program.
Kevin performed research under the supervision of professors and scientists from the university. He then presented his research on gamma spectroscopy and the half life of aluminum. (courtesy photo)
