Long Island has a new sports show on the local airwaves.
“The SportsBash,” presented by TicketBash.com, airs every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on 103.9 FM-LI News Radio.
Hosted by sports personality Peter Schwartz and TicketBash.com founder Vinny Grieco, the show is a mix of sports talk and ticket news. Each show features a live guest and a ticket giveaway courtesy of TicketBash.com. The show has also recently entered into a partnership with FOCO, a sports and entertainment merchandise company, for weekly giveaways, including bobbleheads and other items.
The show launched on Aug. 26. Guests so far have included former Jet Marty Lyons, former Mets second baseman and Long Island Ducks manager Wally Backman, Islanders forwards Anders Lee and Brock Nelson, former Yankee outfielder Roy White, lacrosse star Tom Schreiber, and LIU head football coach Ron Cooper.
