Maggie’s Eatery and Take Away opens on Route 25A in Miller Place

Miller Place has a new take-out restaurant, conveniently located on Route 25A.

Maggie’s Eatery and Take Away kicked open its doors for the first time this weekend, just in time for the second round of the NFL playoffs. And yes, they have wings – the Buffalo kind, as well as barbecue, sweet Thai chili and Smack Ya Mama Dry Rub.

Dubbing itself as a modern American take-out restaurant, Maggie’s replaces Crazy Crepe Cafe in the Park Avenue Plaza.

Customers at the new eatery are greeted by the interior’s bright decor and a menu that features tacos (lobster and seared tuna varieties among them), specialty salads, bowls, sandwiches and yummy sounding appetizers.

After its big opening over the weekend, the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday this week, but will open back up at noon on Wednesday.
