Nicky’s on the Bay announces opening day for 2018 in Bay Shore

|

Dreaming of the warm hot sun today? Maybe this will help:

Nicky’s on the Bay in Bay Shore, that glowing beacon of hope that summertime will indeed return to Long Island, opens for the season Wednesday, March 21.

Owner Nick Parini confirmed the date with GreaterBayShore this week.

“Let everyone know to make Easter reservations,” he added. (Easter is April 1.)

The bayfront bar and restaurant offers rooftop dining and dancing on the Great South Bay. It’s  entering its 14th season in Bay Shore — and its fourth season after a huge expansion.

There’s also the rooftop snack bar (pictured above), and live music every ThursdayFriday and Saturday, weather permitting, starting Memorial Day weekend.

Nicky’s on the Bay opens at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and stays open through dinner.

“People can expect the same great food and drinks with the best view anywhere,” Parini says each year.

Nicky’s closes each year the Saturday before Thanksgiving, though bar and restaurant space remain available through the holidays for private parties.

Nicky’s is located at 150 S Clinton Ave in Bay Shore. Sister restaurant Nicky’s Clam Bar is already open at the Fire Island Ferries terminal on the east side of Maple Avenue.
