Patchogue is going to be celebrating its 51st annual Italian Festival of St. Liberata this weekend on Main Street.
On Saturday, Sept. 8, from noon to 6 p.m., the road will be closed off for indoor and outdoor dining, vendors, live entertainment and a bocce ball tournament.
The day will kick-off with the traditional parade, which will begin in front of the Suffolk County District Court and finish off at the Four Corners at 12:45 p.m.
After that, families will be able to enjoy the classic and Italian car show, children’s karaoke, a magician, dunk tank, a jester, bouncy houses, and live entertainment by Think BIG Theater Arts.
Vino in the Village
During the feast, some restaurants will be participating in “Vino in the Village,” a wine crawl for $15 a person, allowing patrons to try a variety of wines while receiving a commemorative souvenir glass.
The current participating locations include Locale Gastro Bar and Pizzette, The Tap Room, That Meetball Place Patchogue, and The Village Idiot Pub–more still to be announced.
