This year marks 40 years since the now-legendary boxing movie “Rocky” hit theaters.
That milestone is being celebrated at the YMCA Boulton Center for Performing Arts in Bay Shore with a special 7 p.m. screening on June 18.
What’s more special is the actor who portrayed Rocky Balboa’s degenerate brother-in-law and bestie Paulie Pennino in the Rocky series, Burt Young, will also be on hand in Bay Shore to greet guests and answers questions.
Young, a Long Islander who was born in Queens, will be meeting guests in an intimate setting before the screening. The pre-show opportunity is limited to 50 people at $125 a ticket and includes a Bert Young-autographed boxing glove.
Then after the movie there will be another meet and greet that comes as part of the $85 package.
All attendees — general admission is $30 — will get to watch Rocky and sit for a question-and-answer session with Young about the film series.
