The wine and liquor store inside the Stop & Shop plaza in Rocky Point is set to double its footprint.
The shop is expanding next door into a space that was long occupied by Brugman’s Delicatessen, which closed nearly two years ago.
Customers stopping in for their Bailey’s and Jameson ahead of St. Paddy’s Day saw the wall that once separated the two spaces had been removed and a plethora of new shelves waiting to be stocked.
Ownership said this weekend that they are awaiting final permit approvals and could be days away from moving into the new space.
The plaza is located at 245 Route 25A.
