Sayville Pizza has undergone a major makeover.
Daniel Gambino, the owner, has transformed his mainstay eatery into Metro’s on Main, a more modern pizzeria, to say the least, that’s located at 60 Main St. in Sayville.
The idea was a contemporary take on the traditional New York pizza parlor, while offering something different to the Greater Sayville community.
“I wanted to bring something that Sayville had never had before,” he said. “We want people to have fun watching sports and to enjoy their food.”
Metro’s on Main has an extensive and diverse menu, offering everything from truffle fries and Val meatballs to salads, steaks, salmon, and freshly made pizza pies.
The grand opening happened May 6.
