Silver Alert: Missing Centereach man with Parkinson’s disease last seen June 3

Suffolk Police issued a Silver Alert late Friday for a 78-year-old Centereach man with Parkinson’s disease who has been missing since Wednesday.

The elderly man, identified by authorities as Im was last seen about 9 a.m. on Wednesday at his Shearwater Way home. He is described as Asian; bald; 5 feet, 3 inches tall; and bout 140 pounds, with brown eyes. He does not speak English.

When he went missing, Im was wearing a dark blue puffy jacket, dark blue sweatpants, white and blue sneakers, and a blue hat.

He is believed to be on foot and may still be in Centereach or a surrounding community, cops said. He is known to walk along Portion Road or Middle Country Road to reach shopping centers and businesses in the area.

Im does not have a car, cell phone or wallet.
