A girls flag football game at Wyandanch High School spiraled into chaos Thursday night when parents were sucked into a postgame fight — including one man accused of pulling a knife and threatening to “shoot up” the school, police said Friday.
The 6:15 p.m. incident occurred following a varsity flag football matchup between Wyandanch and Southampton at Wyandanch’s school campus on South 32nd Street.
Police said a fight broke out among players after the game before two adults allegedly joined the melee.
Shalaya Gatlin, 37, of Shirley, punched a 16-year-old girl in the chest, struck another 16-year-old girl in the face and also threatened a 15-year-old girl during the on-field skirmish.
Gatlin was charged with three counts of second-degree harassment and three counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child.
Facing the more serious allegations is Jonathan Perez, 35, of Shirley. Police said he became was fighting a 16-year-old boy before allegedly threatening people with a knife and making threats to “shoot up” the school.
Perez was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, making a threat of mass harm, third-degree menacing, second-degree harassment and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
Minor injuries reported

The three 16-year-old victims suffered minor injuries and were treated, police said.
Both defendants are expected to be arraigned at Suffolk First District Court in Central Islip at a later date, authorities said.
Wyandanch’s girls flag football program is in its third season.
