Your guide to the Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue

|

After a three-year hiatus, the Great South Bay Music Festival is back!

The island’s premier four-day music festival kicks off its 14th installment Thursday, July 7, at Shorefront Park, located at 99 Smith St. in Patchogue.

The four-day live music extravaganza presented by the Blue Point Brewing Company runs through Sunday, July 10, and will include a wide variety of acts and vendors.

If you haven’t yet grabbed tickets, they are still available online.

Children under 10 are admitted for free and invited to partake in the music and activities at the Kidzone tent and stage, found between the Clamshell Bandshell and the Sunshine Stage.

“Dress them in their painting clothes, we’ll give them a brush and paint, and let them go create,” the festival’s website reads.

Festival organizers will donate $1 from each ticket to the “GSB Music – Stony Brook University Cancer Center Fund,” just as they have since the festival’s 2017 incarnation.

The organizers also invite guests to bring a can of food or a non-perishable item to donate to Long Island Cares, the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
