Big Easy, Bistro & Bourbon eyes late spring/early summer opening for Patchogue

|

Big Easy

In just five or six months, the Big Easy, Bistro & Broubon is expected to be open in Patchogue Village.

And every Tuesday will be Mardis Gras, the owners say.

The building at 17-19 North Ocean Avenue will be expanded and undergo a complete interior renovation starting this month.

The New Orleans-themed restaurant will occupy both floors totaling 3,000 square feet.

The plan is to open in late spring/early summer.

“The developer intends to create a look for the building that pays homage to the French Quarter style buildings that are so famous in New Orleans, complete with a wrought iron balcony,” the announcement reads.

The ownership company is called 19 NOA, LLC. The group’s idea is to attract locals, as well as those from farther away who might be seeking out a destination restaurant.

Menu items will include traditional dishes such as jambalaya, gumbo, crawfish, beignets and chicory coffee with specials changing weekly as well as some old favorites with a New Orleans flair.

There will be live music, specialty drinks, craft beers and a craft bourbon bar.

Oh, and Mardi Gras parties will be thrown every Tuesday.
