Jack Bradley Burns was barely 2 months old when he was diagnosed in November with a rare liver condition called Biliary Atresia.
Now recovering from a full liver transplant, the East Patchogue infant’s battle has sparked an outpouring of community support.
Since his diagnosis in November, Jack has undergone numerous hospital visits, tests, and procedures, including two major surgeries. His parents, Jeremy and Stephanie, have remained at his side throughout his care while managing the financial and emotional toll of his condition.
His medical journey continues

Doctors said the baby’s medical journey remains ardent and long.
“His short life has been met with challenges that parents pray their children will never face,” wrote his aunt, Amanda Burns, on a GoFundMe page started to help the family. “(The diagnosis) has placed a considerable amount of emotional and financial burden on the family.”
Fighting for their son
Amanda Burns said her brother and his wife “are doing everything in their power to save their son.”
“I’m asking for you to take some of the burden off their shoulders while they fight for his life,” she continued. “We’re asking the community to help take some of the weight off their shoulders while they fight for his life.”
Launched on Thursday, the campaign has secured nearly $30,000 from more than 200 donations.
