Islip Town is currently accepting nominations for the 2017 Women’s History Celebration, which will take place at the 2 p.m. Town Board meeting on March 21.
The town is looking to recognize people who live and/or work within the town who have made “significant contributions to the Islip community,” reads an Islip Town announcement.
Nominations must be received by Tuesday, Feb. 21.
