The Town of Brookhaven announced that the upcoming recycling event in District 6 has changed location.
The event, which includes paper shredding, e-waste disposal, and the prescription drug take-back program, will now be held on Oct. 10 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Center Moriches Library, located at 235 Main St. in Center Moriches.
The take-back event allows an environmentally safe way to get rid of e-waste, sensitive documents, and expired drugs for residents. It is open to all Brookhaven Town residents and local businesses.
