Mike Tyson set to land at Farmingville dispensary July 16, three months after 4/20 no-show

Better late than never — especially when you’re talking about the likes of Iron Mike.

Mike Tyson is scheduled to walk through the doors of Canna Blooms in Farmingville at 2 p.m. today, a meet-and-greet three months in the making.

The former heavyweight champion was originally booked to headline the dispensary’s 4/20 weekend blowout back in April, a rare Long Island stop built around his Tyson 2.0 cannabis brand.

Canna Blooms, located at 2400 North Ocean Ave., had stocked its shelves, lined up the first 100 Tyson 2.0 customers for meet-and-greet access, and leaned hard into the hype. Then, one day before the event, Tyson pulled out, posting a nine-second video apologizing to local fans and promising he’d make it out soon.

Soon originally was some time in May, organizers had said. But Canna Blooms confirms today’s the day.

The North Ocean Avenue dispensary — a shiny jewel of a store that opened in December with a 40-foot LED wall, crystal chandeliers and a cannabis-branded Cybertruck parked out front for good measure — is once again positioning Tyson’s visit as a marquee moment.

Fans are expected to get the meet-and-greet, autograph and photo-op treatment promised months ago, along with the chance to stock up on Tyson 2.0 product.

It’s a bit of an unusual booking on paper. Celebrity cannabis visits tend to cluster in Los Angeles and New York City, not a strip of North Ocean Avenue in the middle of Suffolk County.

But Canna Blooms made the case that a Tyson appearance, even a rescheduled one, is worth more attention on Long Island than it might get almost anywhere else.
